Project description: The objective of this study is to assess the current state of vulnerability and fragility among youth in Bangladesh with a special focus on the education and health sector and to analyse the youth sensitivity of the national budget to address the predominant vulnerability of young people. The study will include both qualitative and quantitative surveys to collect primary data. Through secondary data analysis, a mapping exercise will be conducted before collecting qualitative data and a sampling framework will be developed for quantitative data collection. A representative primary survey along with some desk research will be conducted to assess the magnitude of youth vulnerability and fragility. The desk review, budget analysis and in-depth interview with relevant key ministries will help to understand the youth sensitivity of the national budget to address those vulnerability issues.
