Collaboration: Tara Climate Foundation
Starting date: February 1, 2026
Completion date: January 31, 2027

Project description: The project has three main components. The first component aims to analyze the supply chain of renewable energy technologies and their components and develop a supply chain strengthening plan. This plan will promote a more efficient, competitive, and resilient supply system, encourage domestic manufacturing, and increase local value addition. As a result, it will help reduce import dependency and support the steady expansion of renewable energy. The second component focuses on developing a green jobs and skills development framework for the renewable energy sector to generate employment opportunities, promote regional and gender inclusivity, and build the skilled workforce required for the energy transition. The third component aims to formulate a green growth strategy and integrate renewable energy investments into national development plans, including the next National Economic Plan, to ensure policy coordination, effective monitoring, and sustainable, resilient economic growth.
