Project description: This study focuses on the critical economic and trade challenges facing Bangladesh in a rapidly changing global landscape. It explores key themes such as export diversification to reduce overdependence on a few sectors, the implications of LDC graduation for trade preferences, and strategies for negotiating free trade agreements. Additionally, the study also examines digital trade and e-commerce readiness, climate-sensitive trade policies for a low-carbon future, and reforms to strengthen the investment climate. Through a series of policy briefs developed with stakeholder consultations and expert reviews, the study offers evidence-based insights and actionable policy recommendations for sustainable economic growth.
