Project description: The aim of the study is to construct an elaborate analytical framework to study social insurance policies and interventions in one export-oriented industrial sector, namely RMG. Although the objective of the study is to explore the case of Bangladesh’s RMG sector such a framework will also be applied to two south-east Asian countries, where social insurance policies in the export sectors have been introduced, as comparators.
