Call for Digital Artwork

Organised by Youthonomics

Rules and Guidelines:

Eligibility: Open to all citizens aged 15 to 30 years.

Themes:
Your art or illustration must relate to one of the following themes:

  1. Economic Transformation and Labour Market
  2. Social Development and Inclusion
  3. Environment, Climate Change, and Just Transition
  4. Political Economy, Geopolitics, and International Trade
  5. Technology, Innovation, and Future of Work

Size and Format:

  • The illustration must be in portrait orientation and sized 12 inches × 18 inches. Submissions outside this dimension will not be considered.
  • For digital artwork, the file must be in high resolution (minimum 300 DPI), which equals approximately 3600 × 5400 pixels for a 12” × 18” canvas.

Medium and Caption: 

  • Digital art.
  • The illustration must be in color; black-and-white will not be accepted.
  • A caption of up to 100 words explaining your illustration must be submitted as an attachment.

Additional Guidelines:

  • Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in digital art is not permitted.
  • Illustrations previously submitted to any other competition will not be accepted.

Submission Instructions:

  • Submit your illustration and caption via the provided Google Form link by November 30, 2025, midnight.
  • Upload your digital artwork as a PNG file and submit your caption as a Word (.docx) file.
  • Save your files before submission as follows:
    ○ Illustration: YouthonomicsXSAEC 2026_Your Name_Artwork
    ○ Caption: YouthonomicsXSAEC 2026_Your Name_Caption

Evaluation:
Decisions made by the designated panel of judges will be considered final.

Awards: 

  • Selected illustrations will receive certificates of appreciation and cash prizes.
  • Winning artworks will also be featured across various promotional materials (banners, folders, notebooks, etc.) at the 9th SANEM Annual Economists’ Conference (9SAEC).
