The 8th episode of Youthonomics was held in April 2020. The topic of Youthonomics-8 was “Economics of Climate Change”.
As part of its social actions against the COVID-19 Pandemic, in an endeavor to create a space for meaningful online discussion among citizens on the various aspects of the present crisis, South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) has launched the SANEM Netizen Forum on COVID-19 Pandemic.
The 7th episode of Youthonomics was held in October 2019. The topic of Youthonomics 7 was “Bangladesh’s LDC Graduation and its Future Consequences”.
The 6th episode of Youthonomics was held in September 2019.
The 5th episode of Youthonomics was held in August 2019. The topic of Youthonomics 5 was “Women’s Participation in the Labor Force: Obstacles and Ways to Overcome It”.
The 4th episode of Youthonomics was held in July 2019. The topic of Youthonomics 4 was “Youth’s Perspective on Budget 2019-20”.

SANEM started a new event for students from April 2019, called “Youthonomics”, with the belief in mind that engaging the youth in an intellectual and academic discussion is essential for developing a more informed and rational society.
