Outcome Report: Bay of Bengal Economic Dialogue 2021
The first international conference of the Forum, Bay of Bengal Economic Dialogue 2021 on “Post-COVID 19 Challenges in the Bay of Bengal Region” was held on 8-11 February 2021. The dialogue hosted 6 organized discussions between eminent panelists and 15 paper presentations by scholars, development practitioners and students from around the region. Professor Rehman Sobhan, eminent economist of Bangladesh, delivered the keynote speech which helped in setting the core objectives of the dialogue resonating throughout the event. H.E. Dr A. K. Abdul Momen, MP, Hon’ble Foreign Minister of Bangladesh, joined as the Chief Guest and H.E. Mr Tenzin Lekphell, Secretary General of BIMSTEC, joined as the Special Guest during the inaugural session.
