International trade inspired generations of economists and policymakers to study the complex interaction of export and import among the countries. Trade agreements determine the movement of goods and services across the globe. Furthermore, trade paves the trail to regional and global cooperation, utilizing economies of scale and a higher level of productivity. Bangladesh is on its way towards LDC graduation, providing a changing scenario for trade, with opportunities to explore and untapped potential to realize. Against this backdrop, SANEM launched the International Trade Centre in October 2018 to continue its effort in arranging relevant training programs and workshops, undertaking further studies and thus, contributing to the present understanding of the subject.
