Vacancy for ‘Field Staff’
SANEM, launched in January 2007 in Dhaka, is a leading non-profit research organization in South Asia. It is also a network of economists and policy makers in South Asia with a special emphasis on economic modeling. SANEM aims to promote production, exchange and dissemination of basic research knowledge in the areas of international trade, macro economy, poverty, labor market, environment, political economy and economic modeling. SANEM contributes in governments’ policy-making by providing research supports both at individual and organizational capacities.
SANEM is looking for undergraduate students who are currently persuing Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines of Social Science (preferably 3rd and 4th year level students of Economics, Development Studies and Health Economics) from reputed universities for the position of Field Staff (contractual) for a SANEM project ‘South Asia Intraregional FDI and GVC Survey –Pilot’ funded by the World Bank. Both public and private university students are encouraged to apply. The candidate must have the following qualifications:
• Background in basic economics.
• Can operate digital survey devices (i.e. android phone)
• Good communication skill.
• Able to interview the stockholders from different business community.
